Young Adult Mass-Dinner-Lecture Series

Café Catholica is an annual summer mass-dinner-lecture series for young adults (20's-30’s) featuring
dynamic Catholic speakers and sponsored by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
Café Catholica is held over four Monday evenings during July. This year we are graciously hosted by the Basilian Fathers at St. Thomas High School (4500 Memorial Drive, Houston 77007).
500-700 young adults attend each night.
Christ, feed us. Our hearts are restless until they rest in you.

  July 8:  Cardinal DiNardo - "Papal Bulls on Parade" - Our New Pope & the Future of the Church 
July 15:  Sr. Mary Brenda, OP - "Heart of a Champion" - Bleeding Our Team Colors in a Gray World
July 22:  Christopher West - "Getting On Base" - Christian Love in the Pagan Coliseum
July 29:  Fr. Dwight Longenecker - "Dream. Scream. Believe!" -  Spreading the Excitement
August 5: Summer Closing Social

Nightly schedule:
5:15 pm     Confession available (not required!)
6:15 pm     MASS
7:15 pm     DINNER, Socializing, Visit Tables
8:15 pm     TALK by Featured Speaker (ends with Q&A time)
                      9:15 pm     Adjourn to local gathering spot!
